This month's presentation will be given by our camera club member Brian Hren. He will cover how to plan for and shoot the night sky. The focus will be on using equipment you probably already own. He will discuss resources for finding subjects and free software for post-processing to obtain the best image possible. Brian has been an avid photographer since his early teen years when he saved enough money to acquire a Pentax K1000. Self-taught, he learned the hard way using film and has the boxes of blurry, under and over exposed negatives to prove it. He switched primarily to digital in 2004 but continues to collect and shoot the film cameras he couldn't afford back in the day.
